The series, were places in Britain mainly hun, and I did them years ago when I was practicing watercolors. Oh I think you should carry it on too, I admire people that can work with the medium...It wasn't my forte but my husband likes watercolors, so I just wanted to give it a go back then Thank you so much!!
Aww thank you Linda, and the reason I showed some of my humble beginnings, is to encourage other artists starting out, to have faith that the journey is ever evolving and never throw anything away even if you think it isn't that great....you can get an idea of how far you've come
Your colours look joyful and vibrant, not rubbed over to death by attempts to correct the unruly runs of paint... Looks like you definitely had a better time with watercolor than I did - I'm too much of a control freak, so never did get along with this medium which seems to have a mind of its own. So glad for discovering pastels - both of my love of drawing and vibrant colour are combined, with a great degree of control!
Well thank you but like you I'm a control freak too in painting, and never got along with watercolors either and you're right it does have a mind of its own haha. Yes, I do love pastels for those very reasons you say!
